Raving about her dinner of shoestring French fries, alluding to a tough “emotional” week and raging like she wanted to drive her mic down through the venue’s stage with her words, Brooklyn’s latest musical implant K Flay stormed through a quick, eight song set at the Brooklyn Bowl.
Wearing a Cramps shirt and Docs, Flay head-banged and and spat wit and lyrics from six tracks off of her latest Life As a Dog (those being “Fever”, “Can’t Sleep”, “Thicker Than Dust”, “Everyone I Know”, “Time for You” and “Make Me Fade”) as well as the totally rad “The Cops” from the What If It Is EP and “Sunburn” from Eyes Shut.
