The mighty post-punk punks Viet Cong were in Vancouver, on March 28. Yet sadly, I wasn’t. I was stuck in Amsterdam, with the flu. But all is not lost, I was there in spirit and instead had an extra pair of eyes on the ground.
Bringing hand casts and enough energy to ignite a feral crowd, this is what it looked like when the Calgary band tore to shreds the Biltmore Cabaret on March 28th in Vancouver. Thanks to photographer Richard Amies for letting me live vicariously and surviving long enough to deliver the goods. Looks epic and can’t wait to see them in London at the Field Day Festival in June. In the meantime, behold THE ROCK SHOW below. \m/
