Playing  in Vancouver at the venue called VENUE on October 15, the lads from Lambeth, Palma Violets still somehow conquered in front of a too-small crowd. Gods bless the work ethic of a young band that still believes every show counts, even though they’d just been here six months ago. “But it was so packed the last time!” proclaimed singer/bassist Chilli Jesson a bit exasperatedly until he was reminded it was the day after the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, and folks were probably still in a turkey coma. But PV still raged through everything on their debut (always great “Tom the Drum” and “Best of Friends”) plus bounced around through the Hot Nasties’ “Invasion of the Tribbles”.  In other words, Vancouver, you missed a good show. Never. Do. That. Again. \m/
