Long live the shoegaze kings from Oxford, England! RIDE returned after a far-too-many-year’d hiatus to play a Toronto theatre and I was there and they sounded remarkable. Here’s a run down of my history with this epic band.

With volcanos erupting in the distance, black sand beaches and trips to the Blue Lagoon, you could say that partying alongside Flaming Lips, War on Drugs, Caribou, Future Islands and locals Mammút, Kiasmos, Agent Fresco, Árstíðir and others made ICELAND AIRWAVES pretty epic
